Sixteen-year-old Mahmut spends his time feeding pigeons and stealing birds from others in order to sell them. His greatest dream is to have the best birds. The young man's life changes when he finds a pigeon nesting on a roof. He discovers that eight-year-old Ismail lives under the roof. Their encounter becomes an important turning point that will affect both boys' lives.
After completing his education in Yozgat, Osman Nail Doğan moved to Istanbul. He entered the world of cinema on the occasion of a director. He took script lessons from Nilgün Öneş and Yavuz Turgul at a special screenplay workshop. He attended New York Film Academy's cinema classes. In addition to his first film, Pigeon Thieves, he is writing a series of absurd comedy-style serial film.
